Three Forms of Conditional

First Conditional

1. If it rains, we will stay at home.

2. If I study hard, I will pass the exam.

3. If I train hard, I will become a champion.

4. If I do the research, I will write an article.

5. If I wake up early, I'll go for a jog.

Second Conditional

6. If I didn't go to postgraduate school, I wouldn't become a scientist.

If I hadn’t gone to postgraduate school, I wouldn’t have become a scientist. (3rd Conditional is better for this case)

7. I would go to the USA for an internship if I learned English.

I would go to the USA for an internship if I knew English. OR

I would have gone to the USA for an internship if I had learned English.(3rd Conditional is better for this case)

8. If I went to Europe, I wouldn't come back soon.

9. I would go to Thailand if I took a vacation.

10. If I fell in love, I wouldn't get married.

11. If I were a polyglot, I would know many foreign languages.

12. If she were smarter, she would lead a healthy lifestyle.

13. If he were a good father, he would set the right examples.

14. If you were confident, you would go on a date with her.

15. If I were black, I would play blues.

Third Conditional

16. If you had asked me to train you, I would have helped you become more beautiful.

17. If my business had brought me good dividends, I could have done charity.

18. If I had had my own pool, I could have swum in the morning.

19. If I had come to Paris, I could have climbed the Eiffel Towelr

20. If she had loved back, I would have made her happy.
